Clinton T. Pye, President
Clinton’s aviation career started in 1990 with the buying and selling of piston aircraft, primarily Beechcraft and Cessna. In 1991, Clinton obtained his pilot license and began obtaining all of his ratings. He is rated to fly multiple Cessna Citation Jets aircraft along with Challenger 600/601, King Air’s thru the 350’s, and Westwind I,II Jets.
Clinton’s business aviation career began in 2000 as owner of Lancaster Airport, Inc., manager and developer of the Lancaster Municipal Airport. After successfully re-developing the airport by securitization of $15MM in private and federal funding. Mr. Pye was instrumental in obtaining one of the first WAAS Approaches in Texas and development of over 200,000 square feet of new hangar space while at the helm of the Lancaster Airport. Clinton sold the Management Company and most of the assets to the City of Lancaster in 2008.
During 2008, While Instructing at CAE SimuFlite DFW on the Citation 650, Clinton went on to develop CTP Holdings, Inc. which provides clients with not only Pilot Services but also the Acquisition & Management of Business Jets and Turboprops. Other services provided are Aircraft Appraisals for buyers, sellers, and financial institutions, along with Consulting, Inventory of Aircraft, along with Sales and Brokerage. He also held the position as a partner with Pollard Aircraft Sales at the Fort Worth Meacham Airport from 2008-2015.
In September of 2015 went on to start The Aviano Aircraft Company, which is engaged in the business of buying and selling all types of Business Jets and Turboprops. To date Clinton has sold over 200 aircraft to various companies as well as individuals.
Clinton while managing 8 Business Aircraft, personally oversees daily operations of CTP Holdings and Aviano Aircraft Company from his North Texas headquarters located in Fort Worth, Texas, at Meacham International Airport based at Texas Jet.
Terry Johnson, Sales & Research
Terry Johnson joined CTP Holdings in 2015 as an intern to augment his studies at The University of North Texas. Terry is now completing his Senior year at UNT and is finishing his degree in Aviation Logistics. Terry holds the title at CTP Holdings and Aviano Aircraft of Research Analyst and Assistant Director of Aircraft Management.
Terry has always loved flying. From an early age, his favorite part of a vacation was the airplane ride. That passion has continued to grow, and now his everyday life revolves around aviation. Terry’s life-changing decision to become a pilot came after a friend took him on a helicopter ride in his R22. Since that day, Terry has been working hard to advance his career in Aviation. Terry holds a private pilot's license and is currently working toward his Instrument and Commercial ratings.
Some of Terry’s other achievements include attaining the rank of Eagle Scout rank at the age of 17, and taking first place in the North Central Collegiate Cycling Conference as President of the UNT Cycling team. When he’s not flying Terry enjoys wakeboarding, scuba diving, cycling, rock climbing, hiking and playing guitar.
